It feels odd planting seeds while surrounded by heavy snow. I was so pleased last week when I found this mini greenhouse at Menards for only $15. It’s nothing fancy, but hey – I just saw the same exact model at another store for $60 so I’m thrilled. A true blessing from God.
I got out the seed packets and my garden journal and started getting organized, then I saw this weather alert pop up about a spring snow storm. I looked outside at the bright blue sky and the nearly 50 degree day and thought RIGHT! But within 24 hours winter storm Virgil had arrived.
This morning I misted my freshly planted seeds with a winter wonderland as a backdrop. Something just seems wrong with this picture.
