This week the strawberries began to turn red. It was so nice this morning to slice them up on my cereal for breakfast. Their sweetness hasn’t peaked yet, but it won’t be long.
Today I added twine to the bean poles and soon they should be climbing. The squash looks marvelous and the tomatoes already have baby greens. The cucumbers are healthy and the lettuce will soon be ready for summer salads. How I love this time of year!
